Gamin nuvi 1490T 139.99 @ Costco

I recently bought this GPS from Costco. So far, I've really enjoyed it. I'm sure I might have gotten it slightly cheaper online, but I still like buying from a physical store. Coming from using a nuvi 260, the large screen is great.

I bought mine from Costco in Sept. 2010 for about $200 and thought THAT was a good deal!!

I have to say thats a great price!!! I paid almost $500 in Sams Club.

It's nice to see the price coming down again. This is is same price I paid for a 1490LMT during Cyber Monday last Christmas season.

My feeling is, with the combination of low price and Costco, it is on its way to discontinue.

Wow! Great price ... but remember the built-in memory is pretty small for the next map update (because of all the junction view files)

What is the difference between the 1490T and 1490LMT?
My 1490T has lifetime traffic and I haven't seen any ads yet.

believe LM stands for Lifetime Maps (update).
T is free traffic with ads.

I don't think it applies to PRC

No good, I returned mine. It's a press screen rather than touch screen, repaint take 30 seconds at normal detail level, random popup as your panning the screen and no way to close it. The list goes on ...
