No ...
The 1305 firmware does not include the Junction View feature.
Even if it were possible to "hack" the firmware to include Junction View, you would void the warranty and run the real risk of turning your nuvi into brick.
If you really need the Junction View, consider selling your 1350 on eBAY or to a relative, and buy model that includes the feature
Your current model does have the LANE ASSIST feature which IMHO is a much more user-friendly feature of telling in advance which lane to be in.
Junction Views only pop up within a quarter mile of the turn.
I have real trouble with folks looking at their GPS's to see the pretty Junction Views, especially since they are cruising into a major turn at 70 mph.
Garmin 205, 260W, 1450LMT, 2460LMT, HEREwego for iPhone ... all still mapping strong.
Garmin nuvi 1350
Thank you for the advice.
Prefer lane assist

I have the 1350 and have seen what JV (junction view) looks like on other units. I prefer the Lane assist
Nuvi 2460LMT.
its the firmware i believe,
its the firmware i believe, usa version require a hacked fw to be installed. (which will void warranty) and i dont think a hacked fw is available for this model. taiwan version of 1350 series supports junction view feature though while usa doesnt.
It is possible, but...

...not recommended unless you know exactly what you are doing and are aware of the potential risks. Your warning is very sound, because there are many out there who had difficulty in changing their units over to use the added features, and a few that permanently bricked their units.
For the record, I activated these features on my 1300LM without difficulty, but as already noted, not everyone got that lucky. The process involves a customized version of the US firmware with a European boot screen. And, it is available for the 1350 if you want the Junction View.

Is it also possible with other models such as the 255W

It's possible for the 2x5W
It's possible for the 2x5W series, but the chances of bricking the unit are greater. This is because one of the three mainboards in the 2x5W series is not compatible with the modifications. Attempting to make the mods to a nuvi with the wrong mainboard is guaranteed to result in a bricked unit.

Thanks
and knowing that now, I'll just forget about it.

The entire reason this works
The entire reason this works at all is because you're flashing the Singapore/Malaysia version of the 255W firmware onto an American unit. But, for it to work, you have to fire up the diagnostics menu to find out the mainboard, and then before loading the firmware, delete GUPDATE.GCD, all your voice files, and all your text files. The voice and text files aren't compatible with the firmware, and having a GUPDATE.GCD in the unit when flashing will cause major problems.
There's a reason I haven't done it to my roommate's 255W. Now you know why.
