POI icons (larger?)

Does anyone know if it is possible to enlarge or how to get larger icons for a Garmin Nuvi 750? Even at full zoom, you can hardly see them.

Size Limit
There is a size limit to POI icons that can be displayed. One source I remember reading on Garmin's site (which I can find right now...) suggests icons should not be more than 32px wide or high, although I think I also saw another FAQ that said icons should be no larger than 24x24. In either case, they aren't very large.
ETA: From the FAQ on uploading BMP files written by Motorcycle Mama:
The size should be 24x24 or smaller. I have found that 18x18 or smaller works best.
