My nuvi 1350 will not alert me to POI's I have loaded in my unit. Anyone able to tell me why and what I need to do to correct it

My nuvi 1350 will not alert me to POI's I have loaded in my unit. Anyone able to tell me why and what I need to do to correct it
If you are refering to voice
If you are refering to voice alerts see http://www.poi-factory.com/node/25730 .Using poiloader make sure to use manual mode and set the alert distance.

Also, remember that the sound file MUST be the exact same name as the cvs/gpx file.
All the files in the POI folder should be the same name.
Ex:
Folder: Truck Stops.
GPX/CSV file: Pilot
Sound file: Pilot
Icon file: Pilot
Of course, the file extensions will be different. As in the above, they would be .csv/gpx, .wav/mp3 and .bmp respectively.

Are the POIs on the track
Are the POIs on the track you are navigating (linear alerts)? If the POIs are off to the side then you have to set them up as TourGuide or radius alerts.
Are Proximity alerts turned ON in your settings? On my GPS it is "Tools/Settings//Proximity Points". Maybe you have something similar on yours that needs to be turned ON.
