Initializing data

On my Garmin 1490, I am having similar problems with the new Garmin update in POI transfers. Final step is not working---Initializing transfer. Means no transfer period of POI factory material. I'm afraid to try similar transfer on the 350 in case the same thing happens. What's the problem and how do I get back to previous POI program that works?

I take it you're using 2.6.0

I take it you are using POI Loader 2.6.0 to load the POI to your units.

I have found this version does not always overwrite an existing POI.GPI file. Either manually delete the file from the poi folder on your unit from the computer or, run POI Loader twice. Once to delete the poi files, the second to load.

initialize stall

using latest window poi loader on the nuvi 765T it stalled at the initialize step. Deleted 260 from my computer and installed 254 as VE1NPS suggested. Worked like a charm and I downloaded all my custom POIs. Just to verify this solution if you are having the same problem.
