POI Factory has got to be the best POI website on the internet! I cannot beleive I been a member goin on 4 years now! You get accurate, fiendly advice from our forums here! Lots of archived info just a search click away! I dont even bother going to other websites for POIs anymore, cause POI Factory has all a person needs!

Unless you are the lead sled dog, the view never changes. I is retard... every day is Saturday! I still use the Garmin 3590 LMT even tho I upgraded to the Garmin 61 LMT. Bigger screen is not always better in my opinion.

The Best

When you have friendly, smart members and a great environment to share information, not to mention Miss POI, there is no-where to go but up!

Wow!

Yes, this is one of the friendly forum I ever been into.

Go POI Factory!!!!

Absolutely !

I was on a different topic a couple seconds ago, and saw this:

Beginning with Street Atlas 2010, the file type drop-down box on the Street Atlas Draw File import dialog has a selection for "POI Factory/Garmin CSV File".

How Famous is that ? And when can we have official badges to show our membership to non-browsers ?

I stumbled on this place...

...when it was only about 2-3 weeks old. Back then there were about a dozen files all together, and maybe 40-50 members. My, how it's grown! I'm an old-timer, at the age of 4.

Hats off, and 3 cheers to the two original members.

POI-Factory

Without this site, I could not even begin to think of a place to find all the great POI's listed here.
I don't know of any hotel chains or companies that list POI's for their locations. Let alone all the fun ones found here.
Thanks to Miss POI and all the people who contribute here.

Outstanding

Actually all in all, I have not downloaded that many files from here because I haven't needed them. But I always found what I needed. I am especially pleased with the information that is traded here.

I keep coming back because I can find reliable information for other users from when maps become available to new technologies. I have never been disappointed! The website deserves all the accolades above.

I don't think you can see the list. But if you right click and open on the user's name, you'll see http://www.poi-factory.com/user/##### on the url. It shows that the user is #####th member.

If you left click on a user name you will see "additional information" on the user. One of the headings is "GPS Brand". If you click the GPS company listed below this heading (Garmin in my case) you seem to get a complete list of all users that have Garmin listed as their GPS Brand. Looks like 7810 pages of names listed there.

585 Pages listing TomTom users and 393 pages of Magellan folks.

I'm really not sure if I've interpreted the list correctly but with 20 names per page and a total of 8788 pages listed, that would total 175,760 users for those 3 GPS manufacturer's products.
