Considering upgrading from 660 Garmin to 465T Garmin for truck quidance capabilities. Good choice? How does "Where am I" funtion work.

Where Am I.
It will give you current location,nearest address and intersection.Plus hospital,police and fuel stations .You can save the current location.Good for saving coordinates for later.It will save to favorites.

Can't comment on the guidance features, but I personally don't like the limitations of any models in the 'newer' family - all of the Nuvi xx5 and the models labelled higher than 1000. I much prefer my 760 and the way it presents upcoming cross streets and displays map detail - not to mention that the Bluetooth works MUCH better than it does on the newer Motorola-chipped devices.
