Another area 51 to investigate.

We were so successful in the Tampa location that I’m posting a new one for those who enjoyed deciphering the last one.

Let me do a little setup to explain how I came about this new location.

A couple friends of ours cruising on their motor home left the Tampa bay area in late October headed for California and meandering through various states.
They are staying mainly at States and National Parks; they send me a daily e-mail to let me know where they are camping for the night including the coordinates of their RV for safety issues.

On the way back they sent me the coordinates of the State Park in Texas were they were staying for the night, I pulled the location up on Google maps and since it was close to the Mexican border and the infamous Ciudad Juarez I started browsing the area using Google and came across this location that arouse my curiosity

I know what it is but why there? There are no signs of humans in the immediate vicinity, who could be using it? Does it have to do with illegal drugs or law enforcement?

Care to speculate?

Note: Once you pull it up on Google you need to zoom in to see the details.

Interesting

A one mile air strip marked 'Private', with a shack at the end. I'm thinking border patrol stuff.

Also, have a look at 30.904272,-103.799458. An interesting object on what looks like a dirt runway.

the plane boss the plane

The shape appears to be an airplane, whatever it is at the end of that runway is casting a shadow.

This thing is also out of place for that area.

that was quick

Great find metricman, when I did a search it came up with this page and a different airport

http://www.fltplan.com/AirportInformation/5TE0.htm

But after checking distance from Eagle Pass I found the airport for the Comanche Ranch that was not what I was looking for
