BLUFF CITY, TN -- In a rare unanimous vote, Bluff City officials approved a resolution on speed cameras Thursday night. Bluff City's Recorder says the speed cameras on Route 11-E are catching so many speeders, they need more help to deal with all the paperwork.

That the majority of the debate didn't seem to be over whether to hire an additional clerk but how much to pay that person. I'd reason with the number of tickets being issued and need to hire another person to deal with it that position will pay for itself. At ten bucks an hour a lot of burger flippers will be trying to jump ship to a government gig even if it's only part time.
