2011.20 Europe, Junction View & SD card

I knew this was going to happen. With the new (improved?) update method from Garmin and the lack of the .exe file being available, I've lost European Junction View on my 755t's SD card.

Short story: I'm in an email exchange with Garmin as to whether or not anyone who buys supplemental maps on DVD and installs them to their device is entitled to all the functionality possible. In other words, with supplemental maps, you can only install and update the SD card via Mapsource. Mapsource doesn't know Junction View even exists and hence won't create the folder or install the .jcv file. Hey Garmin, we already knew that.

So, until CNEUNT2011.20 came along it was as simple as updating all the maps on the card from Mapsource then manually extracting the latest .jcv file from the self-extracting .exe and moving it to the SD card. Now there's no .jcv visible to extract and move. Naturally when I updated the North America maps to that 2011.20 release there was no issue as the downloader knows it's to update everything on the Nuvi itself.

Garmin is considering sending me the European .jcv file, maybe. My argument with them is that I bought the map set for it's functionality, not just the bare maps. Junction View isn't an option or extra-cost add-on, it's there if the maps are installed right to the device, so why shouldn't it be available on the expansion card? After all the card is nothing more than more memory to the unit.

Can anyone who has CNEUNT2011.20 installed on a 7x5 or similar unit do me a huge favor and send me the .jcv file only? I'd like to be able to tell Garmin on Monday that it's as simple as letting us download that file and doing our own update.

Thanks folks! Hopefully my efforts can help all of us in this situation.
