Hotfix data=satellite prediction data used by the GPS. It basically tells the GPS which satellites should be visible so the GPS does not have to actually scan the sky (which takes time) for available satellites. It allows the unit to obtain satellite lock much faster than without the prediction data.

Is this patch apply to all GPS or just the one that use M chip?

The update is only for those units that have the GPS "M" (MediaTek) chipset. If your unit qualifies, it will be updated upon running WebUpdater.
