My Garmin Nuvi is not being recognized by Google Earth update to 5.2

The way I read the announcement on the Lat Long blog, GE can only read data directly from outdoor models (e.g. Edge, eTrex, Forerunner).

You can, however, use the "Import from file" option and either navigate to the Garmin\GPX\current.gpx on your Nuvi, or saved track logs on your PC. This works for my Nuvi 760...

Google Earth 5.0 recognized my Garmin, this version does not; and I am not alone on this, there are several others with the same problem.

the fix will be in the next build you see. It should offer to auto-update itself, so you shouldn't miss it."

As a workaround with Google Earth 5.2, use the import method I suggested im my previous post, or uninstall 5.2 and install 5.1 using the advanced setup option from the download page and tnen select Previous version
