Can checkered flag arrival be changed

I would like to change the checkered flag to a bloon with You have arrived in it. Any ideas>??

I was told about a year ago by Garmin that the checkered flag "could" not be removed. It seems that if it was programmed in it could be programmed out. Maybe he meant to say that they "would" not remove it.
Before i contacted Garmin, I had tried inserting an icon at the destination, checkered flag, location and it worked. The problem was that the icon comes up behind the flag.

It can't be done. Not unless you happen to work for Garmin and know the underlying code for the Nuvi.
maybe it is possible
There is a program by turboccc to view all the symbols on a GPS.... I've never run it, but I assume the checkered flag is one of the symbols.
