garmin mobile XT gets slower as time goes on ??

i find my garmin mobile XT becoming slower with use. 1 year later and its half the speed it was and getting to the point where it takes 2-3 seconds to update the map after a turn. anyone know how to fix this other than reinstalling ?

On a couple of occasions I've had Garmin Mobile XT crash so badly that the only option was to do a reinstall. While I don't see a slowdown, my biggest problem with Garmin Mobile XT on my LG Incite is that on occasion the car will register anywhere from 50 to 100 feet to the left or right of the actual road position.
Check to make sure XT is the only program running, since other programs will slow down the system. Other than that, the only option is to reinstall.
