Hi, and welcome.
Be sure and look at the Faq at the top right hand side of the site. There is a lot of great information to help you get started with everything.
There are a lot of post from more informed people than me on here with the custom poi, icon and sound that will help you.
After you read them you need to go to the garmin site and download the POI loader. You will need it. Also look on here for the link to Extra_POI_Editor. It is a program that one of the members made and is kind enough to share it with us. There are post that will tell you how to use POI Loader and
Extra_POI_Editor, be sure and do a search for these.
