1490T lifetime traffic expired??

I bought my 1490T at Costco in late January of this year,
and for the last few weeks , I/ve been getting notice about my Navteq traffic subscription is about to expire..
Today when I turn it on..The traffic icon is gone, and I went to tools, then traffic..it shows expired??? The 1490T is suppose to have lifetime traffic..just wondering if anyone has the same problem? Any suggestion how I should deal with it? Thanks!

Never heard of it. Just return it to Costco.

Not sure about the 1490 but a update was out recently dealing with Lifetime Traffic expiring.May want to run web updater and make sure to go to the second screen also to look for and other traffic updates.If that doesn't fix it call Garmin.

I went and did the update..it still shows expired. I am returning to Costco for an exchange..I hope the next one won't have any issue..because this will be my second exchange, and I've bought the lifetime map update. I want to make sure I've got one that has no problems before I activate my lifetime map subscribtion.

returned and exchanged

Went to Costco today and exchange my 1490T. They issue me a cash card so that I can buy another one. I paid $329.00 plus tax, but it's on sale for $279.00. So now I have a brand new 1490T and $56 in my cash card..
Costco! You're the best in Canada..

My experience

Bought the same Garmin from Costco as you.

Had the same thing happen.

Sent 1 email to Garmin, gave them all the specifics and they pushed an update to my account.

Updated thru the WebUpdater and voila! It was all fixed just right.
