Mexico Maps - The latest version?

The latest version is 2010.40, same as the current CN NA NT maps. The Mexico maps are included with the same CN NA NT 2010.40 download but they need to be unlocked for use with MapSource and your nuvi. Contact Garmin & they should be able to supply you with an unlock code for a charge.

Interestingly enough, if I change country to Mexico, I only have an option for Coahuila. So, you're saying the rest of the map is there as well? Do you know the name of it and size?

According to Garmin, the map is 89.4 megs or so if you DL it.

Can't imagine go to Mexico and drive. I thought most people just stay at the resort.

Then, you would miss the real Mexico, and just stay with the rest of the tourista's.

The Mexico map is indeed there and has been since (I believe) the initial 2010.1 release. If you look at the CN NA NT maps from within MapSource and adjust the map view so *only* Mexico is shown, the bottom of the map view screen will say "GPS Map Detail Locked". This means that the actual map detail is there but just needs to be unlocked with an unlock code.

I just checked and nothing shows as GPS Map Detail Locked. Mind you, I didn't have the unit hooked up, and the Mapsource is the new beta. However, the 2010.40 map was showing as unlocked. Hmm.
