Route maps - how to create for users?

The route is usually a specific turn by turn through the country. POI would not work. Thanks for your help though!

If you create a POI file with a separate POI for each turn, the turns will show up in order when you select that POI. Further, if someone selects the final destination under GOTO, and then selects a VIA as the next listing on the POI, it will be inserted. Once they pass the first VIA, they can select the next POI stop, The names for each POI should be in sequential order for the trip. A little Rube Goldberg, but it should work.

That would mean stopping to make that adjustment during the drive. Not safe doing it that way or during driving

Create Waypoints, anyone...?

This is a standard work-around for those units that do not route.

Since your unit does not have routing and you do not want to build a POI file with the various turns as waypoints, due to safety reasons, I see no way to do what you need.
