Upload Route from Mapsource into Nuvi

Hi everyone,

I have the Nuvi 755t and using MapSource version 6.15.11 to create a route. I use MapSource and uploaded that route successfully into the 755T.

When I turned on the 755T select Where To->Custom Routes, I do not see the route I uploaded.

I know that the Nuvi 755t can support 1 route.

Does anyone know where where is that uploaded route or how do I use the uploaded route from the 755T?

Thank you for your help. I did the tools->my data->import route from file and now I can see my route under "Custom Routes", but that route seem to be different from the one I created using MapSource. I think during the import it recalculate the route. The import version of the route look completely different from the one I created in MapSource

Another question, before I do the "Import Route from File". Where is that route file located on the Nuvi drive?

unfortunately, the nuvi will recalculate the route on import, discarding the changes you made

it seems the only way around it, is to force the route through intermediate waypoints, which is a drag, as each gets announced as arrival points

route import

Since the nuvi recalculates imnported routes, you may have to add additional via points to preserve the exact route you wish to take. When transferring from Mapsource, the route source GPX files are in folder \Garmin\GPX on your nuvi. Once they are imported, the custom routes are in \garmin\GPX\current.gpx
