Do gmapprom.img work on NUVI 205 and also the Street Pilot C320 ?
Is it true, that I only need to copy the file into the root of the MicroSD card (NUVI205) or into the root of the SD Card (StreetPilot C320) ?

Won't work
Since the preinstalled maps on the 205 are locked to that device you will not be able to use the img file on any other GPS.
