Two months old unit has intermittent problem when the unit
wont turn on and times when it turns on,it wont turn off
without waiting till it is ready to turn off. Searching
history finds similiar problems some time back, any thing
current before I go back to Radio Shack to look for answers?

Try updating.
Have you done the latest software update (6.20) It may give you a quick cure. It is supposed to solve shut down problems that people have been having.
