How do you get Coordinates after entering in Favorites, Nuvi 750?

I haven't tried this, but think it's supposed to capture your current location.

First click on "set location." Then save it as a favorite. This can be done when you are there or later on by viewing the map in the GPS. Then click on coordinates.

If I understand your question, you are trying to pull the coordinates from a site you saved as a Favorite. This is going to be a little convoluted but it does work:

1 From the "Where To" screen, touch "Tools > "Settings" > "System" > "GPS Simulator -- Off" and turn "ON" the simulator. Select OK.

2. Hold the "Back" button until you get back to the main "Where To" screen. Tap "Where To" > "Favourites" > Your Favourite entry. That will bring up the info screen.

3. Tap "Show Map" and then hit "Set Loc.". Hold the back button until you are back to the "Where To" screen again.

4 Tap "Where To" > "Coordinates". The coordinates shown are the ones of your favourite.

Never would have figured that out and I won't ask how you did, lol.

I tried that with my GPS 855. It didn't work. I looks like my "set location" isn't working.

The location should be saved for "set location" to display the coordinates. Check the map again to make sure it is still at the same position and not some other location.
Saving the coordinates of a POI is one of the most useful features of a GPS. Search the many links at POI Factory on this, and also on Gary Hayman's Garmin Nuvi GPS Tricks. He'll tell you ten other ways to do the same thing!

Like they say, "There must be 50 ways to leave your lover" or to save your coordinates. You might want to consider changing your coordinate display option. Seems the standard is Degrees.Decimal-Degrees. That is the format used on this site and the one used in most POI files.

From the "Where to" screen, select "Where to" > "Coordinates" > "Format" (at the bottom). Select the radio button for, "h ddd.ddddd". Hit OK and your display format will match that used here.

I must be something wrong, still not working right to find the coordinates.

You can touch tools and Where Am I.It will show you the coordinates and save location at bottom.

Touch view map,touch vehicle and it will take you to screen showing coordinates with save location at bottom.

Thanks for all the help. I was trying to do it the way that Jackj180 instucted. I guess it doen't apply to the 855. I give up wasting too much time already.

4. Select View Map.
5. Tap Car Icon to open Where Am feature to see coordinates.

If you go to a location that you want to add as a favorite.You can also touch where to,points of interest and select the proper category,example fuel.It will show the closest to you.If you find the one you want just touch it and save.The advantage is that you will have all the complete information for that favorite.You can not add everything by just getting coordinates and editing it from the gps.
