I just bought a Garmin 265T and I wanted to put in my rest stop locations.
No problem with the location file or the reststop icon that comes up when you get near. But the sound file will not load, it has the same extension as the other files and I have used it on other units.
All that comes up on the screen is a tone and a box that says rest stop ahead.
Any ideas?.................Cy
Make sure you are using wav
Make sure you are using wav files for your voice alerts and you also have installed the sox.exe on your computer.Nuvi 265 does not have ability to use mp3. See http://www.poi-factory.com/node/25730 for instructions.

Wav and Sox
I have the 265wt - wav audio files with poi file and sox.exe in garmin poi loader folder and the sound works fine.
