next map update for nuvi?

Since the question has been asked before, let me rephrase the question for all of us who are waiting as long as we can.

I hope someone was tracking when versions 2010.10, 2010.20 and 2010.30 were first released. Since we are only 20 days into 2010, all of these 2010 "releases" were, in fact, released in 2009.

Miss POI most likely has the information and this "release" data (for the various GPS manufacturers) would make a valuable FAQ, if it does not already exist.

I have to the end of Feb. to get my free update and would love to get the 2010.40 version (instead of the current latest version which is 2010.30). Since I have 2010.10 (on my 765T, I did Tools > Settings > Map > Map Info) I will gain probably 8 or 9 months of new road data, but getting the latest is what I would prefer and, I think, what is driving all of these questions members have been asking.

good info - that means there is some chance that the next update will occur befor my free update window closes.

I copied the info plus a link to this thread into a MS Word file I keep of important info. We all know that the question will arise again.

My free update runs out on March 4. Hopefully there is an update before then.

Thought that was your motivation. That is why I rephrased the question.
