Slow drawing of maps on start up of 885T

After I installed the lastest firmware update of the 800 series, I have noticed very slow drawing of maps on start up. Every time I stop the car and turn off engine, then restart, it takes from 1 minute to 1 1/2 minutes for the initial map to complete the map draw. Anyone else notice this?
I would perform.....
a hard reset to see if it clears up the problem.

Hard reset procedure.

Before doing a hard reset
Before doing a hard reset I would try simply removing the battery and reinstall it. Since the 8x5 series does not really shut off completely, unless the battery dies, this would ensure a fresh restart.
If this fails, then I would try the hard reset.

That's right, remove the battery first.
