Updating Speed Cameras

Hi

A newbie question. If you upload a newer version of speed cameras to your gps, does it remove the previous version?

Thanks

Garmin?

If you are asking about a Garmin device, the default operation of POI Loader is to replace all custom POI's each time you run it. There are renaming methods and other methods using a SD card to avoid this, but by default, all will be replaced.

Yep...

Updating deletes all old POIs

As the first responder indicated, ALL of your custom POIs are replaced when you upload another one on Garmin, not just the more recent speed cameras file. If you have other POIs you need to upload them at the same time otherwise they will be deleted.

Rename the POI

Or, as alandb said, rename the POI file.
