Should I load mp3 or wav for mobile xt ver 5?

I've never tried using mp3s

I've never tried using mp3s in my copy of Mobile XT, but then again I maintain the same POI files for both Mobile XT and my nuvi. Lowest common denominator...wav files. They work in both Mobile XT and my nuvi so I stick with them.
