Nuvi 300/350 Software update - vers 6.20

Happened to run Webupdater this evening and discovered software update version 6.20 available (dated 12/18/09) for my 350. Sounds familiar to the recently reported 6xx update.

Changes made from version 6.10 to 6.20:

• Fixed problem where certain voices could sound garbled.
• Fixed issue that could occur working with Safety Cameras.
• Fixed display of BNG coordinates.
• Corrected Eniwetok time zone.
• Corrected Spanish punctuation marks.
• Fixed issue where turn alert beeps were not sounding.
• Fixed issue where road names were not showing for Athens map.
• Added Flemish voice support.
• Fixed issue with adding traffic subscriptions for Italian and French.
• Fixed issue that could occur with address searches.

I went ahead and updated my 350 (took maybe 5 minutes). First time starting up after the updating seemed to take the 350 a little longer than usual to acquire satelites but may have been because I was indoors. All seemed fine once satelites were locked in but won't know until tomorrow when I need to use it to see if it still works as well as before.

Nice they are still supporting the 350 and hope Garmin continues to keep providing updates for the discontinued models.
