755t Touch screen

Bin talkin with Garmin about my 755t touch screen issue. Read all all the posts in here about it, so this is nothing new. They made me an offer to get it replaced. I replied that it seemed a waste of time at this point since their new Firmware made mine worse, i know all to well what happens with the software thats on your new Garmin when you register. Here's my Question. I'm gonna try to suggest to them that they upgrade me. Won't be free i don't think. I have 2 others with the same functions to choose from. The 765t and 775t. Will any one of those solve my touch screen issue?

All the 7x5 series models are the same basic hardware / software platform. My 855 does not seem to have the touch screen issues.

I did 2 hard resets and
I did 2 hard resets and re-calibrated the screen which seems to help a lot with my 765T. If you haven't done this you might consider doing so.
At the least re-calibrating the screen might help.
755t touch screen
Garmin just replied, they are offering me a new one. They are not saying that the 755t has touch screen problems, just saying that i might have a defective one. They never addressed my question on if the 765 and 775 had the same problem. I did try your advise Frside007, didn't help, still a hit and miss when taping an icon.
