855 and Simulation?

My 855 crashes at the start of a simulated trip!
Reset does not help.
Any suggestions?

Low Battery!

This is twice that I have been caught with a low battery and did not see it!

The simulation works fine with the battery charged...

I can not get used to the idea that the 855 unit is just sleeping when off. You must remove the battery.
I have been updating poi's, splash screen, Turbo's abbreviations and voices and had the unit near the computer. The battery runs down quickly.

It will be placed in the vehicle and plugged in for awhile.

If I've got my nuvi 855 next to my computer I always keep it plugged into the USB. Certainly helps keep the battery charged.
