I have the nuvi 885t.
Has anyone else had an error message when using voice recognition search for POI's?
I use the VR and speak "Where to" and that is OK.
Then I say "Points of interets" and that is OK.
Then it asks if I want to search by category or Place name.
I say "Place Name" and an erro rmessage comes up that reads:
"There is no Speech Recognition support for this feature in the current language or selected location. Please use the touch screen."
This just started... I have it set to "Jill - American English".
The VR used to work OK but it has been a little quirky. I am using software v4.60 and GPS S/W v2.90m.
I did just update my map from CNNANT2010.10 to CNNANT2010.20.
It seems to route and display properly and it seems like all the other voice recognition commands work OK.
Any experiences like this or any ideas ?
I know there are actual files for the VR functino, btu I don't know what they are so I can't look to see if they are there or not.
