Garmin Wish List

I wish the Garmin would automatically remember the route I prefer and learn it after I use it a few times. I believe Sony has a GPS that does this. rolleyes

Wish

that the color of the speed limit changes based on your actual speed... user configurable.

Great idea!

Great idea! I'd like to see the on-screen speed limit sign change colors, i.e. color code yellow for "x" amount over the speed limit and color code red for "xx" over the speed limit, with an sound alert possible. All user configurable.

I wish that Garmin would do

I wish that Garmin would do a much better job of testing a new unit before they put it on the market.

I wish

that Garmin would make a nuvi that could play iTunes format songs and sync with iTunes on my computer

Just make your final destination a favorites then all you have to do is select it or home and it will take you the same way each time. wink

I doubt Apple would ever allow that

That would cut directly into Apples iPod and iPhone business so I seriously doubt that would ever be allowed by Apple.

Mute Button

On the 265T it would be nice to have a mute button on the map screen instead of having to make 5 presses on the screen to mute or unmute. There is certainly room on the map screen for it.

Yeah the darn things back in

Yeah the darn things back in the day had a volume dial on the side (C330) but then they got cheap on us and removed it! argh!

I miss the volum knob on C550 C580

Wish they can add that feature on Nuvi units.

It's entirely possible

Blackberry has a downloadable MediaSync program that connects to iTunes and syncs iTunes playlists to my Blackberry. It's a standalone program that runs on the computer. It just reads the iTunes playlists and copies the songs and playlist from the iTunes library to the Blackberry media folder and they show up in the Blackberry Media Player screen.

There is no reason at all that someone could not create something like that for the Nuvi's. There is no software that installs on the device. The computer application just needs to read the playlists and copy the files over.
