fooling your garmin 265wt into accepting routes?

Is there any way of fooling your 265wt into accepting routes you've created in Mapsource, Mapquest, or Google Earth? Can I put routes on an SD card and then access them in my GPS? For instance....On a long trip, day one point "A" to point "B", day two point "B" to point "C", and lastly day three Point "C" to point "E" through point "D". Can I do this by making points "A" through "E" favorites, and then accessing them each day as I travel? Is this as clear as mud?

No saved routes on 2x5 series

The 2x5 series does not support saving routes. You can create a multi-point route as your active route by inserting waypoints, but you can't save it and call it back up.

As answered by another -- not a real 'ROUTE'. Only series 700, 800, plus the 1490, 1690, 5000 can do that at present.

But you might find that an adaptation of my Workaround 'THE IDENTIFIER (The ZZ Technique)' found in article

YES VIRGINIA, THERE IS MORE THAN ONE VIA POINT AVAILABLE

on Page 3 might be useful to you

You may want to look at this post on multi via points. The manual states only one via point can be used but other members have found that not to be true see http://www.poi-factory.com/node/19196
