I was glad one of the teams
I was glad one of the teams ran away with it last night so I could go to bed early.
I worked at a charity event for one of my students that has leukemia all day and I was tired. In the evenings I teach pottery and a number of local artists donated their work and time to raise money to help defray his growing medical bills. A 15 year old kid should not have to go through this and it sounds like he has at least 3 years of treatments ahead of him.

Cruise
Went on a cruise last week. Weather was great, but cruise wasn't. Lousy crew (I believe that they were close to crew rotation), lousy food, lousy shows, and lousy cabin. And, WAY too many people!! Have cruised 12 times, and this was the worst. Ship, BTW, was the Carnival Destiny.

Here we go with another week and another month has past us by. We have been getting hammered by rain with some flooding, but have a break for a few days. The rain beats the alternative of the past two summers with drought conditions being prevalent.

Been out of the country for two weeks. Used my GPS in Venice because we got LOST!!! Glad to have the GPS. It didn't work in the samll streets but on the open areas we could find where we were. Sure glag I took it..
