Busted

Well I got BUSTED at a light in St. Louis Kingshiway and Page. I (as usual closing the barn after the horse has run away) came back to POI-FACTORY to look for updates etc.

My question is to report cameras - is there a way to see what cameras are already in the database. I assume that the camera at Kingshiway and Page is in the database but, I have not been able to figure out how to find out.

Other than the obvious method of JUST PAY THE $20 you tightwad!!! LOL

Thanks B25crew

Other than the obvious method of JUST PAY THE $20 you tightwad!!

If you use your GPS alot then you're foolish not to pay... C'mon $20 for a yeat??? What did the ticket cost ya? The list is pretty extensive..Just pay the $20 ......or I guess you could just pay another ticket.

pay

Oh I'm gonna pay LOL - in more ways that just for POI-FACTORY.

If you don't want to pay the $20, become an active member >>>

You can become an active member and in three weeks you can get the file for free. Requires posting in 3 out of 5 weeks. You are 1/3 there. http://www.poi-factory.com/node/262

What mkahn said ...

Yeah, just drop by to say hi once in a while.

How about if I tell you that there are about 39 or so listed for St. Louis (proper), and about 7 for kingshighway?

...And I thought DC metro was bad! .. oh wait, it's MUCH worse. shock

It's about the Line- If a line can be drawn between the powers granted and the rights retained, it would seem to be the same thing, whether the latter be secured by declaring that they shall not be abridged, or that the former shall not be extended.

I agree with the other

I agree with the other posters, just type 1 message a week, and your set. Not hard to do.

Almost every day

After I first signed on to the factory and downloaded some files I found I was logging on to the site almost every day just to read the posts and to help out with answers if I could. It is part of me now.

Frankly, i am surprised that there are only 25 to 50 users on at any given time given the benefits this site has to offer.

You can Pay the $20.00 bucks, just to help pay the bills and keep the lights on here at the POI-Factory. Then become a contributing member from there on.

That's what I did, and do!

BUSTED= paid the $20

Obviously its a GREAT cause to try to keep the "MAN" from ripping us all off with their money making machines (red light cameras).

Just become an active member

Just become an active member and download the redlight file on this site. Review the file for the rlc and if you don't see those in your locality listed, let Miss POI know. Thanks.

Once you are able to

Once you are able to download the files, you can open them up in a spreadsheet program, and do a "find" to see if the intersection is included or not.

Welcome to the forum!

Test Drive

Becoming an active member is a good way to see if the data here is useful for the area where you live. If you like it after 3 posts and a free test drive, then pay to support the site you know that you will be using in the future.

Red light camera in question

The offending camera is in the new POI file that I downloaded last night after becoming a paying member.
Miss poi also let me know that it is in the file.

Damn things are spreading like roaches.

No I am trying to find out if there is a fix for the Garmin c530 socket. Mine is busted (like me) a couple of the little plastic fingers are missing.

b25crew

Is on the file.

I passed the area before and my gps alerted me. It's been on the file since last year I think

$20 is cheap compared to the price of one ticket.
One ticket would pay for quite a few years.
Look at it as keeping the site running. It's not free to keep this site up and running, plus look at all the free POIs you get.

Just read an article on the Metro this AM that Montgomery County as doubled the number of SPEED cams from 30 to 60. That's in addition to the red light cams.
