Garmin Works Off Road Too

Just returned from a 2100 mile trip from Illinois to the vast plains of North Western Nebraska. Garmin took me where I wanted to go even when we went off the public roads and onto the "trails" of the Oglalla National Grasslands. Garmin worked flawlessly. Thanks Garmin.

Good to hear

I will be trying mine out in Northern Wisconsin well off the roads in a couple of months. It will be interesting to see how it copes with the logging and other dirt roads.

I have had mine bring me

I have had mine bring me through the state forests a few times as the "fastest route". Took longer, but a nice drive.

When it's offroad time, I'm using my 60CSx, and TOPO Maps. Awesome.

Blue lines

There are blue lines kept showing up on my Garmin, even many lines on my driveway. Took me a while to realize that those lines are the routes I drove before. Garmin tracks where I've been.

Guess this is good tracing my way back if I go where there is no road on the map - off road, right?
