so i noticed on the back of my 765t nuvi that there is a gold input near the lower right hand corner of the device, almost looks like an antenna connection; Problem is, I can't seem to locate any information about what this actually is or does. anyone have any clues?
External Atenna Connector
According to the nuvi 705 series owner's manual, it is the external antenna connector.

I have a Gilsson I used to use with my iQue 3600. I tried it with my newer 765T and it works great, but the reality of the matter is the 765T gets a decent signal even if used inside a vehicle! Unlike the old iQue 3600 where the amplified external antenna worked wonders, I do not see an improvement on the 765T.
