Use of the second (address?) line in search results

Usability of custom POI search results would sometimes be A LOT better if we could make use of the second line of each search result item. In Garmin's search results, the second line seems to always be an address when it is present.
In fiddling around with the Extra_POI_Editor, it looks like the gpx address field is what gets displayed on that second line. When does a Nuvi 755 or similar model use such addresses as opposed to just displaying them? I assume it always uses the POI coordinates (not the "address") for locating a custom POI. Bad assumption?
In the Extra_POI_Editor preview and more windows the information in the address field is just presented as whatever text I put in the address as though it has no special program meaning. I am assuming that is the way most Garmin GPSs display it too.
I have used the example of the Rest Areas POI file in another post recently and will use it here also.
The way that csv file works requires selecting an item in the hit list to get a page that is blank except for a title that is basically what you already know and then you have to press the MORE button to get to the details (4th column data).
The 4th column data is typically very short. If it could be displayed directly as the second line of the search-results list items, everything I wanted to know would be right in that list... no need to look further.
So, is there a way to use that second line of search-result items to display any text I want?
What would be the limitations and restrictions?
Thanks.
I tried some things
Just for grins, I used the Extra_POI_Editor to open the Rest Areas CSV with it set to map column 4 data to the address field and saved it as a GPX file.
When I loaded it in my 755T, I seemed to have gotten what I wanted.
The GPS seems to truncate the address (column 4) data at 24 characters but it all shows on the page when you select the item.
And, the GO function seems to go to the coordinates of the POI with no complaint.
Of course, that does not mean nothing cares that I did that.
I also loaded the GPX version on my 2720.
It displays only one line of text for each search result but I get the same info as on the 755 on the item's sub-page when I select it.
And, so far all functions I have tried using the POI work as expected.
Usability is greatly improved!
