I came across this article today on the web site "gps blog". Thought it had some interesting info on current and future uses of our gps devices.

Not so far fetched
Some of those gadgets almost seem practical. Does anyone remember the Dick Tracy wrist watch that was pure fantasy at the time. I have no doubt some of these will be available in the not too far future.

I thought cell phones would eventually go the "Dick Tracy" route as every year they kept getting smaller and smaller. Once they started integrating cameras, PDA's, mp3 players etc. into them, the dream died.
