Updating POI Files

Just think if there was a way to do that then you wouldn't read the other things that go on here. You would loose your windmill, and never get to try to be #1 on the weekly chit chat.

Not so. I'd have even more time to socialize & think about what is really needed in POI files. Instead, a lot of effort goes into detecting what has been updated recently.

The contents of the POI files are what's important. Knowing you have the latest of the POI files you want are important. Paying gratitude to those who created the files is important. Updating them is not, if there's a simpler way.

Maybe, just maybe, if some little bird could whisper in the ears of Miss POI or JM, then they could implement a subsription system that sends out updated POI files or notices about updated POI files to those who wish not to be left stranded on the hiway.

This has been suggested many times of a means to have reference to custom poi files that have been updated.I use to visit another site that listed on your user page all the pois you owned plus any others that you had downloaded.Beside each was a time stamp on last update.Made it very easy to manage .Miss Poi has posted about some new features to be released in the future.Hoping something similar to this will be included as well as other suggestions that have been posted on the site.
