I'd welcome any thoughts & suggestions regarding the use of my newest toy!
We travel by motorhome across the counrty...

I'm sure a GPS will be a great addition to your motorhome.

You might want to start by checking your firmware to see if it's up-to-date. Garmin released 3.70 for StreetPilot c340 about 2 months ago.

Keeping your C340 up to date

Garmin offers for free on their web site "web updater" software for downloand that we let you check for all up dates at once for your model. It will check for firmware, voice guidance, POI updates. The link is: http://www.garmin.com/products/webupdater/.
Also the latest map version is: "City Navigator North America NT V8 Deluxe" released on April 5th 2006.
