Got my windmill back!

GPS safely got me to a swim meet on the other side of the county. Love it. Thinking about making a POI file for all of the MCSL (Montgomery County, MD) Swim League pools.

What a week!!!

This will be a hectic week between puppy training, boat repairs, computer repairs, post emergent herbicide lawn treatment, bunches of plants to plant, and preparation for a Saturday auction.

there used to be a great place on Lake Union that served alder smoked salmon. I haven't been there in many years, but if it is still around, it is hard to beat it.

A great 4th

I had a great 4th! My son called me at 6am on the 3rd to let me know he was back in the states after 9 months in Iraq! By the end of this week, he should be home with his family! And we weren't expecting him back for at least another week or 2.

The restraunt that Tom Hanks and Rob Riner in "Sleepless in Seattle" ate in is in the Fish Market. It is great. Don't remember the name but it has photos of them eating in it on the outside window, you can't miss it.

Don't forget to go see the houseboat from the movie!

Went through Phoenix a few years ago and they closed down the airport because it was so hot the airplanes had not been tested in that high of a temperature. We live in Texas and you are in a very dry heat in Phoenix. Stand outside for 2 minutes here and you look like you have been rained on.

Enjoy!!!

Very glad to hear that your son is back on U.S. soil, safe and sound. Be sure to thank him for his service and sacrifice for the rest of us grateful Americans.

Not a bad 4th

My 4th was not too great or too bad. Went to the Toledo zoo and back home to grill out and pay with the kids. Frustrating part was that I had water in my ear and had a hard time getting it out and now I think I have a ear infection.

Not Last

Made it today to be able to post.

My Mini doesn't show the right speed

Pissed me off that they allow it to be off by 7%. Mine is off by 6% and they won't do anything about it.
