Does anyone know what the WAAS setting means in the Garmin I5? Is it any better than the normal satellite setting or worse?

WAAS Is
Something designed primarily for aviation, but is useful for ground navigation as well as it increases accuracy of units down to two to three meters.

Many users report that when on battery power, it may be better to turn WAAS off for a longer battery run time.
