Garmin "Start-up" logo

on the 255 series, but if you connect your gps to the computer and navigate to the Garmin folder and then to the jpeg folder you will find all the pictures there, if you make one be sure and save it to the proper size, then drag and drop it into the jpeg folder and then you can bring it up on the gps. if you need more help let us know.

When I look at the images in my image viewer on the GPS - I get the choice to pick one as the start up image.

Sticking to the Image folder will work for now then.

You have that option on the 255.Just add picture to gps.Then go to tools,picture viewer,touch the picture you want,info and put check mark in display at power on.

I'm glad I found this site, so far, all questions answered .. and good information available. I'll be messing around with creating my own POI's and (fingers crossed) creating my own vehicles.

Gonna take some time, but I'll be sure to share anything I create.
