Kenwood 9140

I was wondering if you have figured this out yet? I got my 9140 installed 4 days ago.

Load the POI files on an SD card or DVD using Garmin POI Loader. Insert the SD Card or DVD in your Kenwood unit and go to Navigation. The unit will recognize the POI files on the card and prompt you to load them into internal storage. They are then available under
WHERE TO?, EXTRAS, CUSTOM POIs.

I may be wrong, but I believe you need to copy the POI into a FOLDER named "Garmin" on the disc. If you load the POI to the disc without placing it into the folder it won't load onto the system. I have the 5140 and that is how I have to do it. Good luck!

There is also a "service" page on screen where you can access the "file manager" and use things like "copy" and "paste". But, be forewarned... you can really bugger it up if your not sure what your doing.
