Factory installed POI

Hey
I was wondering if when you update the maps does it update the factory installed POIs? Or are the ones installed the only ones you get? (Of course not counting the great ones we can download here).
I think it should
From what I understand, factory installed POI are supposed to be updated with map update. Supposed because I just don't know how frequent they will od so under the lifetime map update 4 time per year.

The update includes updated factory installed points of interest.Not sure just how close to a real update they are.Some say two years.Would like to believe more than that.Lots of files here you will find a lot more closer.
