I have to say I have been worried about making my first call into Magellan support. All I have heard is horror stories of how bad they are... especially since all I have had with Garmin is outstanding service and support... so the bar was set high.
I am surpised and very pleased with my first experience. The guy was very helpful... he went and got a 4350 and fired it up so we could walk through my issue step by step. A very positive experience... The downside is I didn't have an issue. The way to save a current location to Favorites or an Address Book on a Magellan vs. a Garmin is a bit different.
I did get to send my comments back to Magellan on this when they asked me to comment on my experience. I just mentioned they could be a little more clear and straight forward in their documentation. BUT... now I know what I need to do and am liking this more and more.

Good to hear, my tom tom died on a trip and all I could get was a Magellan 1440. So far I like it, time will tell.
