Beautiful weather - beautiful wife (don't tell her I said that, she might think I'm up to something.) Kids all doing well, and I'm fortunate to have a job. Of course - some tell me that getting paid to play with technology all day isn't really a job...

My oldest daughter turned 8
My oldest daughter turned 8 over the weekend. We got her an ant farm and then went hunting for ants on Sunday. We didn't have much luck, they were either too small or they were carpenter ants.
You really don't want to have carpenter ants get loose in the house so we have decided to keep looking.

My Oldest Daughter
Ms. POI,
My oldest daughter is turning 32. At times I wish we were hunting ants for an ant farm again instead of walking her down the aisle, or watching her obtain her Ph.D. from University of North Carolina. But every age has been enjoyable and I cherish each life event.
Enjoy the "ant farm" moments with your daughter and all the other milestones. They grow so quickly.
I hope your daughter had a wonderful birthday and be sure to hug her each and everyday.

Who likes Hot, Spicy foods?
Just had two slices of left-over Maui Waui pizza from yesterday's visit to Ames, Ia.
The menu calls the Maui Waui "Our super spicy hot pizza. Hot chili sauce, sausage, jalapenos, habaneros & pineapple. Finish a large (1 person) in an hour at our place and get a free T Shirt."
The only way I'm getting a t-shirt is buying one - there's no way I could do the challenge - two slices of a 10" is enough heat to make my eyeballs sweat, and my tongue want to divorce me.
Also have left-over Ruben pizza - that is very good. Looking forward to going back and trying some of the other menu items.
