Map Corrections

My friend bought a new house so I took a trip from Philadelphia route 76 via King of Prussia to route 422. The problem is that the 2009 maps doesn't seem to have the recent reconstruction of the clover interchange junction of 76 to 202 leading to 422.

Does anybody know the procedure to get Garmin to update that area? Does the 2010 maps have that area remapped?

Those of you in the Philly / KOP area that want to verify it, I have the google maps link below but I can't tell if the satellite image is from before or after the reconstruction.

No telling how long it will take to update the maps. You can drop Garmin a note and they will forward it on to the map makers. You can go to the Garmin web site and preview the 2010 maps. Maybe you’ll be able to tell if your area has been updated.

I don't think it's changed

The photo shown in Google Earth was taken in June of 2004 and the Garmin maps (2009, 2009.1 and 2010.1) all correspond well with that photo. So if the interchange was recently changed in any major way, the current 2010.1 Garmin City Navigator map probably doesn't reflect the change. In Mapsource as I scroll between the three maps, I do see a very slight realignment from 2009 to 2009.1 or 2010.1 but I doubt that this reflects a recent interchange construction.

comparison

Ok, so the 2010 maps might have it... thanks for doing the comparison. Most of what they did was move the exists around, widened the turns so they're not as sharp and created new lane separations under the clover.

Go to Navteq.com and go to map reporter. Put in all the info and if you can send them a copy gpx. of your route over that new section of road.

Don't expect changes to take place quickly

Once Navteq acknowledges the information, they need to investigate. It then takes time to get that into the Garmin Map cycle.
