How To help

I need ideas on how to change the low clearance POI file to allow it to load in express with warnings. Anyone have ideas how to do this easily? TIA

Auromatic Alerts

According to the POI Loader help files, the only alert that is automatically set is if the file or record contains speed information such as -77.xxxxxx, 35.xxxx, low underpass@35, 14.5 foot clearance unless you build a GPX file which allows distance (proximity).

If you use TurboCC's Extra_POI_Editor, you can add a proximity distance in an unused column and tell the program which column. The program will then spit out a GPX with the correct information. Using POI Loader, it looks like you are limited to distance=speed*36.

ɐ‾nsǝɹ Just one click away from the end of the Internet

Use Manual Option

Just set the POI Loader to Manual, about the 3rd screen in after you have chosen the device to load to, 3rd option down. This will set all to that distance set and will show as an Alert.

Thanks much.

That was what I was looking for. I was using the manual way and knew there had to be an easier way.
